Determined according to the botanical keys provided in Flora Europaea (Tutin et al., 1972).

Distribution: Native to Temperate Eurasia – to Pakistan, Himalaya and China; Northwest Africa according to the distribution information provided by the Plants of the World Online portal (Royal Botanic Gardens, kew).

Habitat: Disturbed ground- roadsides, waste places and other ruderal habitats.

Lifeform: Annual; therophyte according to the Raunkiær system.

Flowering period: Summer: JUN, JUL.
