Determined according to the botanical key provided in The Flora of the Republic of Macedonia (Micevski, 1998).
Distribution: Native to the Balkan Peninsula: Bulgaria, Greece, North Macedonia and Serbia according to the Plants of the World Online portal.
Lifeform: Perrenial; Hemicryptophyte according to the Raunkiær system.
Habitat: In the Osogovo region it is found in open and dry habitats on rocks in the vicinity of “Saint Panteleimon” monastery and in the area of Tursko rudari and Shtalkovica.
Flowering period: Late spring- beginning of summer (MAY, JUN).
