Taxonomy: Apiaceae// Genus: Bupleurum// Species: Bupleurum praealtum L.

Determined according to the botanical key provided by Micevski in Matevski (2005).

Lifeform: Annual; hemicryptophyte according to the Raunkiær system.

Distribution: Native to Central and South Europe according to the distribution information provided by the Plants of the World Online portal (Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew).

Habitat: Edges and clearings of oak forests, hill pastures.

Recorded localities: hilly region between the villages of Beli and Nivichani, “Shtalkovichka” River and between the villages of Shtalkovica and Ratkovica.

Flowering period: Summer: JUL, AUG.
