Taxonomy: Fam. Fagaceae// Genus: Quercus// Species: Quercus dalechampii Ten.

The species was determined according to the botanical key provided in Flora Europaea Vol. 1 (Tutin et al., 1964).

Distribution: Balkan Peninsula, Romania, Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Italy, Sardegna, Sicily and Malta according to the Euro+Med Plant Base (World Checklist of Selected Plant Families, 2010).

Lifeform: A phanerophyte according to the Raunkiær system.
