Taxonomy: Fam. Apiaceae// Genus: Ahthriscus// Species: Anthriscus cerefolium (L.) Hoffm.

Variability:  Anthriscus cerefolium var. longirostris.

Determined according to the botanical key provided by Micevski (2005).

Lifeform: Annual; Therophyte according to the Raunkiær system.

Distribution: Native from Central Europe to Western Asia according to the Plants of the World Online portal (Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew).

Habitat:  Edges and clearings of woods, near orchards, paths and roadsides.

Flowering period:  Spring: APR, MAY.
