Determined according to the botanical key provided by Micevski (1995) and Ball et al. (1964 in Tutin et al.).

Lifeform: Annual; Therophyte according to the Raunkiær system.

Distribution: Native from South Europe to Afghanistan according to the Plants of the World Online portal.

Habitat: Open habitats – grassland and rocky terrains.

Flowering period: Spring-summer (APR, MAY, JUN).
