Taxonomy: Fam. Compositae// Genus:  Crepis// Species: Crepis setosa Haller f.

Determined according to the botanical key provided by Gajić in Josifović (1975) and Sell in Tutin et al. (1976).

Lifeform: Annual plant. Therophyte according to the Raunkiær system.

Distribution: Native from Europe to the Turkey and Transcaucasus region according to the distribution information provided by the Plants of the World Online portal (Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew).

Habitat: Open and dry habitats – hill pastures, rocks and rocky terrains, river gorges.

Flowering period: Spring-summer (MAY, JUN, JUL).
