Taxonomy: Fam. Orchidaceae// Genus: Spiranthes// Species: Spiranthes spiralis (L.) Chevall.

Determined according to the botanical key provided in Flora Europaea Vol. 5 (Tutin et al., 1980).

Lifeform: Perrenial; Geophyte according to the Raunkiær system.

Distribution: West Europe to Central Himalaya, Mediterranean region according to the Plants of the World Online portal, Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.

Habitat: Clearing ]s and edges of mixed oak forests and bushland.

Flowering period: Fall: SEP, OCT.
