Determined according to the botanical key provided by Richardson (1976 in Tutin et al.) as Achillea depressa Janka, nomencl. ref. Österr. Bot. Zeitschr. 23: 204 (1873). The accepted name in The Euro+Med PlantBase (source: Greuter, 2006+) is Achillea pseudopectinata Janka, nomencl. ref. Österr. Bot. Z. 22: 179. 1872.

Lifeform: Perennial; hemicryptophyte according to the Raunkiær system.

Distribution: Native from Balkan Peninsula to Romania according to the distribution information provided by The Euro+Med PlantBase (source: Greuter, 2006+).

Habitat:  Dry and open habitats- dry grassland/ pastures, rocky terrains, bushland.

Flowering period: Late spring- summer: MAY, JUN, JUL.
