Taxonomy: Fam. Caprifoliaceae// Genus: Lonicera// Species: Lonicera etrusca Santi

Determined according to the botanical key provided by Browicz in Tutin et al. (1976).

Lifeform: Perrenial, woody climber; nanophanerophyte according to the Raunkiær system.

Distribution: Native from South Central Europe to the Mediterranean and Caucasus according to the distribution information provided the Plants of the World Online (Royal Botanic Gardens Kew).

Habitat: Hill pastures, rocky terrains, bushland, clearings and edges of forests in the zone of downy oak- oriental hornbeam community (Querco-carpinetum orientalis macedonicum association).

Flowering period: Spring – summer: MAY, JUN.

Locality: village of Beli.
