Distribution: Native from the Mediterranean to Caucasus according to the Plants of the World Online portal (Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew).

Habitat: Grasslands/ hill pastures, clearings of oak forests – on calcareous soil; calcicole species.

Lifeform: Perrenial; geophyte according to the Raunkiær system.

Flowering period: Late spring- summer:  MAY, JUN.

Locality: hilly region near village of Rajchani.
