Lifeform: Annual; hemicryptophyte according to the Raunkiær system.

Distribution: Native to Southeast Europe- the Balkan Peninsula and Romania according to the distribution information provided by The Euro+Med PlantBase (Hand, 2011+) and the Plants of the World Online portal (Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew).

Habitat: Open and dry terrains – dry grassland/ hill pastures.

Flowering period: Summer: JUN, JUL.
