Determined according to the botanical key provided by Micevski in Micevski (1998).

Distribution: Native to Italy, Central and Southeast Europe to East Europe and Turkey according to the distribution information provided by the Plants of the World Online portal (Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew).

Habitat: Oak and European beech forests, recorded from c. 750 m up to 1600 m altitude.

Lifeform: Perrenial; Hemicryptophyte according to the Raunkiaer system.

Flowering period: Spring – early summer: APR, MAY, JUN.

Locality: “Shtalkovichka” River.

Locality: ridge between “Kochanska” River and “Orizarska” River.

Locality: Ponikva.
