Determined according to the botanical key provided by de Soó (1980, in Tutin et al.) as Orchis coriophora subsp. fragrans (Pollini) Sudre, FI. Toulous. 187 (1907). The accepted name in The Euro+Med PlantBase (source: World Checklist of Selected Plant Families, 2010) is  Anacamptis coriophora (L.) R. M. Bateman, Pridgeon & M. W. Chase, Lindleyana 12: 120. 1997.

Lifeform: Perrenial; geophyte according to the Raunkiær system.

Distribution: Native from Central Europe to East European Russia, the Mediterranean and Iran according to the Plants of the World Online portal (Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew).

Habitat: Open habitats – grasslands and pastures from the lowland up to c. 1500 m altitude. Recorded localities: village of Beli, between Koshutica and Emirichka River, Ponikva.

Flowering period: Early to mid summer: JUN, JUL.

Locality: village of Beli region.
