Determined according to the botanical key provided by Tutin (1980 in Tutin et al.).

Lifeform:  Perennial; hemicryptophyte according to the Raunkiær system.

Distribution: Native from Central and South Europe to Ukraine, Caucasus and Türkiye according to the distribution information provided by The Euro+Med Plantbase (source: Valdés & Scholz; with contributions from Raab-Straube & Parolly, 2009+) and the Plants of the World Online portal (Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew).

Habitat: Open habitats – grasslands, pastures, clearings of oak and European beech forests, from c. 950 up to 1500 m altitude.

Flowering period: Summer: JUN, JUL.

Locality: ridge between lake “Gradche” and “Orizarska” River.

Locality: Ponikva.
