(1964) as Alyssum repens subsp. trichostachyum (Rupr.) Hayek. The accepted name in The Euro+Med PlantBase (source: Marhold, 2011+) is Alyssum trichostachyum Rupr.

Lifeform: Perennial; Hemicryptophyte according to the Raunkiær system.

Distribution: Native from the Balkan Peninsula to Iran according to the distribution information provided by the Plants of the World Online portal (Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew).

Habitat:  Grasslands and clearings of oak forests.

Flowering period:  Spring: APR, MAY.
