Taxonomy: Fam. Fabaceae// Genus: Podocytisus// Species: Podocytisus caramanicus L.

Determined according to the botanical keys provided by Micevski (2001, Leguminosae – key to genera and Podocytisus).

Lifeform: Perrenial, shrub up to 2 – 2.5 m tall; nanophanerophyte according to the Raunkiær system.

Distribution: Native to the Balkan Peninsula to Türkiye according to the Plants of the World Online portal (Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew).

Habitat: Open oak woods at c. 500 m altitude. Recorded in the Svilanovo region.

Flowering period: Summer (JUN).
