Determined according to the botanical key provided in Flora Europaea Vol. 1 (Tutin et al., 1964). The species was not included in The Flora of the Republic of Macedonia (Micevski, 1995). It was reported for the first time in North Macedonia in 2016 (Matevski, 2016).
Lifeform: Annual; Therophyte according to the Raunkiær system.
Distribution: Native to Europe and Asia- east and south-east Europe to China according to thePlants of the World Online portal. According to the Euro+Med PlantBase in Europe it is distributed in Bulgaria, former Yugoslavia, Moldova, Russia, Ukraine (Marhold, 2011).
Habitat: Found on one location in the periphery of Kochani near the railroad station, probably introduced.
Flowering period: Spring (MAR, APR).
