Determined according to the botanical keys provided by Tutin (1968, Umbelliferae – key to genera), Cannon (1968 in Tutin at al., Myrrhoides Heister ex Fabr.), Matevski (2005, Umbelliferae – key to genera) and Micevski (2005 in Matevski, Myrrhoides Heister ex Fabr.). Determined as Myrrhoides nodosa (L.) Cannon. The accepted name in The Euro+Med PlantBase (source: Hand, 2011+) is Chaerophyllum nodosum (L.) Crantz.
Lifeform: Annual; Therophyte according to the Raunkiær system.
Distribution: Native to Northwest Africa, from Europe to West and Central Asia according to the Plants of the World Online portal (Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew).
Habitat: Found on the edges and clearings of woods, near orchards.
