Taxonomy: Fam. Caryophyllaceae// Genus: Minuartia// Species: Minuartia viscosa (Schreb.) Schinz & Thell.

Determined according to the botanical key provided in The Flora of the Republic of Macedonia (Micevski, 1993).

Distribution: Native  from Europe to Caucasus according to to the distribution information provided by the Plants of the World Online portal.

Habitat: Found in open habitats – grassland, rocks, rocky terrains with shallow soil, sparse bushland.

Lifeform: Annual; Therophyte according to the Raunkiær system.

Flowering period: Spring-summer (APR, MAY, JUN).
