Distribution: Native from Europe Southwest Siberia and North Caucasus according to to the distribution information provided by the Plants of the World Online portal.
Habitat: Found in clearings and on the edges of forests, shaded rocks and rock cliffs, bushland.
Lifeform: Perennial; Hemicryptophyte according to the Raunkiær system.
