Taxonomy: Fam. Poaceae// Genus: Cynodon// Species: Cynodon dactylon (L.) Pers.

Determined according to the botanical key provided in Flora Europaea Vol. 5 (Tutin et al., 1980).

Distribution: Native from Temperate and Subtropical Old World to Australia according to the distribution information provided by the Plants of the World Online portal (Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew).

Habitat: Disturbed ground, roadsides, uncultivated land.

Lifeform: Perrenial; Hemicryptophyte according to the Raunkiær system.

Flowering period: Summer.
