Taxonomy: Fam. Lamiaceae// Genus: Prunella// Species: Prunella laciniata (L.) L.

Determined according to the botanical keys provided in Flora Europaea (Tutin et al., 1972).

Lifeform: Perrenial, hemicryptophyte according to the Raunkiaer system.

Distribution: Native to Europe, Mediterranean to Iran according to the Plants of the World Online portal (Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew).

Habitat: Grasslands, clearings and edges of forests.

Flowering period: Summer: JUN, JUL.
