Determined according to the botanical keys provided by Micevski (2005 in Matevski) and Cannon (1968, in Tutin et al.).
Under the taxonomic concept adopted by The Euro+Med PlantBase (Hand, 2011+), Ferulago sylvatica comprises two subspecies: the nominotypical subspecies (subsp. sylvatica) and F. sylvatica subsp. confusa (Velen.) Hartvig (syn. F. confusa Velen.), formerly treated as a separate species.
Lifeform: Perennial; hemicryptophyte according to the Raunkiær system.
Distribution: Native to East Central and Southeast Europe to Turkey according to the distribution information provided by the Plants of the World Online portal (Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew) and The Euro+Med PlantBase (Hand, 2011+).
Habitat: Grasslands, clearings of oak forests.
Flowering period: Late spring-early summer: MAY, JUN.
Locality: village of Pantelej region.
