Determined according to the botanical keys provided in The Flora of the Republic of Macedonia (Matevski, 2010).
Lifeform: Perrenial; Epiphyte according to the Raunkiær system. An epiphytic hemiparasite on Juniperus sp.
Host: Species of the genus Juniperus (fam. Cupressaceae), mainly Juniperus oxycedrus L.
Distribution: Native from Mediterranean to Tibet according to the distribution information provided by the Plants of the World Online portal (Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew).
Habitat: Forests, bushland, sparse vegetation, river gorges and rocky areas with Juniperus oxycedrus L.
Flowering period: Autumn: SEP-OCT.
