Taxonomy: Fam. Aspleniaceae// Genus: Asplenium// Species: Asplenium septentrionale (L.) Hoffm.

Determined according to the botanical key provided by Micevski (1985).

Lifeform: Perrenial; Hemicryptophyte according to the Raunkiær system.

Distribution: Native to the Temperate Northern Hemisphere- from Europe to Siberia, China and Himalaya; Northwest Africa; USA to Mexico according to the distribution information provided by the Plants of the World Online portal (Royal Botanic Garden, Kew).

Habitat: Rocks and rock cervices, river gorges.
