Lifeform: Biennial.

Distribution: Native from Balkan Peninsula to Ukraine according to the distribution information provided by the the Plants of the World Online portal (Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew).

Habitat: Open habitats- dry grassland, rocky terrains with sparse vegetation, clearings of oak forests.

Flowering period: Summer: JUN, JUL, AUG.
