Erigeron sumatrensis Retz.

Taxonomy: Fam. Compositae// Genus: Erigeron// Species: Erigeron sumatrensis Retz.

Determined to genus rank (Conyza) according to the botanical key provided in Flora Europaea Vol. 4 (Tutin et al., 1976), where this species was not included. The species was determined according to Vladimirov et al. (2016).

Distribution: Native from Mexico to  South Tropical America according to the Plants of the World Online portal (Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew). Introduced elsewhere.

Habitat: Disturbed ground, alongside roads and paths, near orchards, gardens and cultivated land, near and in urban areas.

Lifeform: Annual, therophyte according to the Raunkiaer system.

Flowering period: Summer- autumn: JUL, AUG, SEP.
