Determined according to the botanical key provided by Cronquist (1976 in Tutin et al.) as Conyza canadensis (L.) Chronq. (syn. Erigeron canadensis L.) The accepted name in The Euro+Med PlantBase (Greuter, 2006+) is Erigeron canadensis L.
Lifeform: Annual, therophyte according to the Raunkiaer system.
Distribution: Native from North to South America and introduced elsewhere according to the distribution information provided by the Plants of the World Online portal (Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew).
Habitat: Disturbed ground, alongside roads and paths, near orchards, gardens and cultivated land, waste places, near and in settlements. Ruderal plant.
Flowering period: Summer- autumn (AUG, SEP).
