Taxonomy: Fam. Rosaceae// Genus: Potentilla// Species: Potentilla reptans L.

Determined according to the botanical key provided in The Flora of the Republic of Macedonia (Micevski, 1998).

Lifeform:  Perennial, hemicryptophyte according to the Raunkiær system.

Distribution: Native to Macaronesia, North and Northeast Africa, Yemen, Europe to Central China according to the distribution information provided by the Plants of the World Online portal (Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew).

Habitat: Moist places- grasslands, alongside stream and rivers.

Flowering period:  Summer: JUN, JUL, AUG.
