Distribution: Native from Southeast Europe to Turkey according to the distribution information provided by the Plants of the World Online portal (Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew).

Habitat:  Dry and open habitats- dry grassland/ hill pastures.

Flowering period: Summer-autumn: AUG, SEP.
