Lifeform: Annual plant. Therophyte according to the Raunkiær system.

Distribution: Native to Macaronesia, West Europe to East Europe, the Mediterranean and Iran according to the distribution information provided by the Plants of the World Online portal (Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew).

Habitat:  Found in hill pastures on calcareous soil. Recorded in the village of Beli region.

Flowering period:  Spring (APR, MAY).
