Taxonomy: Fam. Ranunculaceae// Genus: Ficaria// Species: Ficaria verna Huds.

Determined according to the botanical key provided by Micevski (1985) as Ranunculus ficaria subsp. bulbifer Lawal. The accepted name in The Euro+Med PlantBase (Hörandl & Raab-Straube, 2015) is Ficaria verna Huds.

Lifeform: Perennial; Hemicryptophyte according to the Raunkiær system.

Distribution: Native from Europe to Turkey and Kazakhstan according to the distribution information provided by the Plants of the World Online portal (Royal Botanic Gardens Kew).

Habitat:  Found in moist habitats- alongside rives and streams, forests.

Flowering period: Spring: APR, MAY.
