Distribution: Native to Eurasia and North Africa- Egypt according to the distribution information provided by the Plants of the World Online portal (Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew).

Habitat: Disturbed ground- roadsides, in and near settlements and other ruderal areas.

Flowering period: Fall (SEP, OCT).
