Taxonomy: Fam. Orchidaceae// Genus: Cephalanthera// Species: Cephalanthera damasonium (Mill.) Druce.

Determined according to the botanical key provided by Moore in Tutin et al. (1980).

Distribution: Native to Northwest Africa, Europe to Iran, Bhutan to China (Yunnan) according to the Plants of the World Online portal (Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew).

Habitat: Edges of forests.

Lifeform: Perrenial; geophyte according to the Raunkiær system.

Flowering period: Early summer: JUN.
