Determined according to the botanical keys provided by Micevski (1985), Valentine (1964 in Tutin et al., Gymnogrammaceae) and Tutin (1964 in Tutin et al., Anogramma).

Lifeform: Annual fern. Therophyte according to the Raunkiær system. Note: sporophyte annual, gametophyte perennial according to Tutin (1964 in Tutin et al.).

Distribution: Native from Central Europe to Subtropics and Tropics – Asia, Africa, Australia, Mexico to parts of South America according to the distribution information provided by the Plants of the World Online portal (Royal Botanic Garden, Kew).

Habitat: Moist positions on rock cliffs and cervices in the “Ratkova Skala” region.
