Hieracium chalcidicum subsp. divaricatum (Fr.) Greuter (syn. Hieracium pilosissimum Friv.)

Determined according to the botanical keys by Sell and West (1976 in Tutin et al.) and Gajić (1975 in Josifović) as Hieracium pilosissimum Friv., Flora (Regensb.) 19: 436 (1836). According to The Euro+Med PlantBase (Greuter, 2006+) this taxon is considered a synonym of Hieracium chalcidicum subsp. divaricatum (Fr.) Greuter in Willdenowia 37: 149. 2007.

Lifeform: Perennial; hemicryptophyte according to the Raunkiær system.

Distribution: Native to the Balkan Peninsula according to the distribution information provided by The Euro+Med PlantBase (Greuter, 2006+).

Habitat: Rocky terrains and stony ground in the zone of oak forests.

Flowering period: Summer (JUL, AUG).
