Determined according to the botanical key provided by Micevski in Micevski (1995) as Arabis auriculata Lam., Encycl. 1: 219 (1783), syn. A. recta Vill. and Jones in Tutin et al. (1964) as Arabis recta Vill., Hist. Pl. Dauph. 3: 319 (1789). According to The Euro+Med PlantBase (Marhold, 2011+) Arabis recta Vill. is considered a synonym of Arabis auriculata Lam.

Habitat: Open habitats – pastures, rocky terrains.
Distribution: Native to Europe, Medittranean to Xinjiang (China) and West Himalaya according to the Plants of the World Online portal (Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew).
