Lifeform: Perennial plant. Hemicryptophyte according to the Raunkiær system.

Distribution: Native from West and South Europe to Central Asia according to the distribution information provided by the Plants of the World Online portal (Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew).

Habitat: Shady places in woods and forests up to c. 900 m altitude. Recorded near village of Istibanja and “Kochanski dol” near village of Shtalkovica.

Flowering period: Spring (APR, MAY).

Locality: “Kochanski dol” below Sinkovica – near village of Shtalkovica.
