Taxonomy: Fam. Caryophyllaceae// Genus: Dianthus// Species: Dianthus ernesti-mayeri Micevski et Matevski.

Determined according to the original description by Micevski and Matevski (2001).

Lifeform: Perennial plant. Hemicryptophyte according to the Raunkiær system.

Distribution: Northeastern part of North Macedonia. Stenoendemic originally described from Kriva Palanka (Radibush). Reported for Shlegovo by Matevski et al. (2019). The Emirica region (Dimitrovski, recorded on 08.06.2025) is the third known locality for this species.

Habitat: Open habitats – pastures, on silicate.

Flowering period: Summer: JUN.
