Lifeform: Annual plant. Therophyte according to the Raunkiær system.

Distribution: Native from Europe to Russian Far East and the northern part of China according to the distribution information provided by the Plants of the World Online portal (Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew).

Habitat: Pastures in the hilly region between Kochani and Orizari.

Flowering period:  Spring (APR, MAY).
