Taxonomy: Apiaceae// Genus: Peucedanum// Species: Peucedanum aegopodioides (Boiss.) Vandas.

Determined according to the botanical key provided by Matevski (2005).

Lifeform: Perennial. Hemicryptophyte according to the Raunkiær system.

Distribution: Native from the Balkan Peninsula to Turkey and Caucasus according to the distribution information provided by the Plants of the World Online portal (Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew).

Habitat:  Wet places, usually on the edges of rivers.

Flowering period: Summer: JUL, AUG.
