Determined according to the botanical keys provided by Cannon (1968 in Tutin et al.) as Chaerophyllum temulentum L. and the botanical keys by Micevski (2005 in Matevski) as Chaerophyllum temulum L. The accepted name in The Euro+Med PlantBase (Hand, 2011+) is Chaerophyllum temulum L.

Lifeform: Biennial plant.

Distribution: Native from Europe to Turkey and Caucasus, Northwest Africa according to the distribution information provided by the Plants of the World Online portal (Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew).

Habitat:  Shady and moist places, near rivers. Recorded near the artificial waterfall on “Golema” River near lake “Gradche’ and in the gorge of “Kochanska” River.

Flowering period: Late spring- early summer: MAY, JUN.
