The accepted name in The Euro+Med PlantBase (source: Kurtto, 2009+) is Crataegus rhipidophylla Gand. in Bull. Soc. Bot. France 18: 447. 1872.

Distribution: Native from Europe to Türkiye and Caucasus according to the Plants of the World Online portal (Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew) and The Euro+Med PlantBase (source: Kurtto, 2009+).
Habitat: Edges of forests.
Flowering period: Late spring – early summer: MAY, JUN.
