Determined according to the botanical keys provided by Tatić in Josifović (1976) and Smith in Tutin et al. (1980).

Lifeform:  Annual; therophyte according to the Raunkiær system.

Distribution: Native from the Mediterranean to China – Xinjiang and India according to the distribution information provided by the Plants of the World Online portal, Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.

Habitat: Pastures and disturbed ground.

Flowering period: Late spring – summer: MAY, JUN.
