Reported for the first time for the flora of North Macedonia by Melovski and Hristovski (2015).

Habitat:  Near rivers, pastures, edges of European beech forests – usually near mountain roads on disturbed and sandy ground.

Lifeform: Perennial, hemicryptophyte according to the Raunkiaer system.

Flowering period: Late spring – summer: MAY, JUN.
